Launch Day
Today is an exciting day! Many months planning and designing our new website, I think I have tested the patience of Sarah! To say I have been a little OCD is perhaps an understatement, but I am so thrilled with the final results.
The website now showcases everything we have done over the last few years. From prop hire, event design and styling to sourcing pieces for your bar and restaurant. We will be updating you with other events, weddings and shoots on these blog pages.
We have also included the Vintage Style Living store. It was evident quite early on in setting up the seperate shop site, that we had probably taken on a little too much and will now be offering a smaller selection for sale. You'll now be able to buy some of the glassware and t-lights that are available for hire and the decorative items will mostly be one-off unique vintage pieces, so check back regularly!
This first post has to be dedicated to Sarah from Studio Spence. She designed my first website back in 2011. Everyone often commented on how lovely the site was and we were delighted it was nominated for Best Wedding Website in the Wedding Industry Awards. Over the years Vintage Style Hire has grown and we wanted to showcase all the weddings, events and styled shoots we have worked on, along with the online shop and integrated blog. Sarah has an amazing eye for detail and her contemporary style is the perfect contrast to mine. I will write a detailed post on her amazing new business in the weeks to come, but if you are a small business just starting out or infact like me want an update to your existing website, I can't recommend her highly enough.
Sarah and I had decided to give my logo a new look too and had started to pull together some ideas. Whilst we were busy on the website, I knew Sarah from Russet and Gray would be just the person to interpret our design. I love the logo and Sarah also created a fab submark. I'm looking forward to working on new business cards and leaflets, perhaps when I've had chance to catch up on some sleep!
I hope you like the new look site. We would love to hear what you think.
